This program examines alternatives to the traditional negotiated purchase and sale agreement as a means of acquiring property when the owner is unwilling or is prevented from selling. We look quickly at a list of alternative creative methods, and then focus in detail on three different types of loan-to-own approaches, which may be particularly useful in the next economic downturn.
