Please join us for an up-to-the-minute discussion of the Qualified Opportunity Zone program requirements and regulations. This program presents new opportunities for investors and developers and has the potential to transform economically distressed areas. The panel will discuss the structure and tax benefits of these transactions, using practical examples, along with possible pitfalls and unanswered questions. The discussion will include how QOZ benefits are compatible with other tax credits. Our panel will also compare tax deferrals and various attributes of 1031 versus QOZ investments.
Even if you have attended other QOZ presentations, you will not want to miss hearing from ACREL Fellows about recent developments in this emerging practice area. Please bring your questions to the open line portion of the program.
There is no registration for this telephone conference, and no CLE credit will be provided. Although ACREL asks that you refrain from sending out a blast email to your mailing list or to another professional association, you are welcome to share the program with your firm colleagues or a few clients by gathering them in a conference room to listen. If you do gather others, we would appreciate a report to the ACREL office (via an e-mail message) of how many listeners attended via your connection. Thank you.
